Inspired by a bouquet made by Oak and Olive Flowers, this painting celebrates the turning of the season. Red carnations symbolize love and enduring strength, and stand beside white carnations, symbols of purity and remembrance. Sprigs of chamomile offer patience and restorative calm.

Dried orange evokes warmth, generosity, and the light of the returning sun, while pinecones and evergreen needles speak to resilience and continuity — life persisting through winter’s stillness. Together, these elements are a meditation on vitality within dormancy, and hope at the threshold of the longest night.
